The Whole Truth (and nothing but the truth)
Here's the mic drop from a legal standpoint.
In the natural, a default judgment happens when someone:
-
does not respond to a court-issued summons and complaint
-
fails to appear in court
-
does not defend themselves; and
-
judgment is entered against them by default.
In this case, the unsaved:
-
have not responded to God's free gift of salvation through Christ
-
have not entered a defense (Jesus' Blood)
-
have not received His righteousness by faith
Why is this so urgent?
We know about John 3:16 of how God loved the world so much that He gave His
only Son Jesus to save us. But you rarely (or never) hear this revelation regarding John 3:18 -- just two verses down! According to John 3:18, those without Christ are already condemned! This is not a future reality, it is a present one. The lost are living under spiritual judgment by default -- on God's "death row" -- and don't even know it because they either rejected God's free gift (didn't respond) or don't know about it (can't respond)! They could leave this life at any moment to suffer His divine punishment for all eternity by default. No one is promised tomorrow or their next breath.
As a result of this, we are calling intercessors around the world to stand in the gap for lost souls through consistent and relentless "around the clock" prayer.
Because of His love and mercy towards mankind, Almighty God -- Who is the Righteous Judge -- wants to forgive and pardon them (spring them from His "death row|), but needs legal grounds to do so.
That's where we come in as Intercessors (spiritual "lawyers") entering His Courts with praise, boldly coming before His Throne of grace to "practice law" using the Judge's own Word!
